Technion - Israel Institute of Technology Department of Mathematics ===================================== PDE AND APPLIED MATHEMATICS SEMINAR ===================================== DATE: Tuesday, February 28, 2012 SPEAKER: Vincenzo Vespri, Universit\`a degli studi di Firenze TITLE: Large time behaviour for solutions to a class of singular parabolic equations PLACE: Room 814, Amado Mathematics Building, Technion TIME: 14:30 ABSTRACT: We consider a class of quasilinear parabolic equations. We study the asymptotic behaviour of the fundamental solution. We prove that the fundamental solution has the same long time behaviour of the fundamental solution of equations with constant coefficients. This result is obtained in collaboration with Ragnedda and Vernier. We need recent results about Harnack inequalities proved by DiBenedetto, Gianazza and myself.
