                   Compatible metrics and integrable systems
I will talk on the theory of compatible and almost compatible metrics and its
applications. Compatible metrics generate compatible Poisson structures of
hydrodynamic type (these structures can be local or nonlocal for flat metrics
and only nonlocal if the metrics are not flat).  Compatible flat metrics gives
quasi-Frobenius manifolds and play an important role in the theory of Frobenius
manifolds. For the nonsingular (semisimple) case in which the eigenvalues of a
pair of metrics are distinct, the integration procedure for compatible flat
metrics is based on using the Zakharov method (a version of the inverse
scattering method) for integrating the classical Lam\'e equations describing
all orthogonal curvilinear coordinate systems in a flat space.
