                               FUNCTIONAL ANALYSIS
                                May 18-19, 2011
All lectures will be held in Room 232 of the Amado Building,

14:20-14:40 Welcome, and maybe a bit more coffee etc.
(Faculty Lounge, Level 8, Amado Building)
14:40-15:30 Boris Paneah. On the general theory of linear functional
operators. New problems and new methods.
15:40-16:30 Alexander Zaslavski. Inexact powers and infinite products of
                                 nonlinear operators.
16:40-17:30 Yuri Brudnyi, Lipschitz extension constants.
At this stage Professor Brudnyi is not entirely certain that he
will be available to give this lecture. If he has to cancel it, then
it will be replaced by a 30 minute lecture by Michael Cwikel:
A simple(?) geometric question with deep consequences for BMO
