Tel Aviv University Dear all, This week at the Horowitz seminar on Probability, Ergodic Theory and Dynamical Systems at Tel Aviv University we are happy to have: Speaker: Ran Tessler, Hebrew University Title: Zero Temperature Spin Glass Models Date: Monday, May 16 Time: 14:30 Place: Schreiber 309 Abstract: In this introductory talk we describe the Edwards-Anderson-Ising Spin Glass model. We consider ground states of this model on several types of graphs. In addition we describe a new dynamical process, which is a natural generalization of the famous Glauber dynamics (in zero temperature) whose limits are supported on the set of ground-states. Joint work with Noam Berger.
