Tel Aviv Mathematics Colloquium
Hello everyone,
The next colloquium talk will be held on
Monday, 20/12/2010 at 12:15,
Schreiber 006. The speaker is
    Asaf Nachmias (MIT)
and the title of his talk is
    Arm exponents in high-dimensional percolation
The abstract is given below. Tea and coffee at 12:00, same room.
Hope to see you there. For information about future colloquiua, see
Abstract: We study the probability that the origin is connected to the
sphere of radius R in critical percolation in high dimensions, namely when
the dimension d is a large fixed constant, or when d>6 and the lattice is
sufficiently spread out. I will present highlights of the proof that this
probability decays like R^{-2}.
