Title : Random Mozaics on the Plane and Kinetic Equations

ABSTRACT
In this talk we'll deal with the following problem. Consider a random
field of straight lines on the plane. The plane is divided by these lines
into (infinitely many) polygonal domains. Find the distributions of these
domains' areas, perimeters etc. I will also consider other random
2-dimensional mozaics and calculate distributions connected with them. The
principal idea of the calculation is to consider a section of the mozaic
by a line that moves in a chosen direction and then treat a polygon as
evolution of a line segment.
