If you are interested, you can look at jpeg files of almost everything that I wrote on the blackboards during all my Infi 3 lectures so far on a CD which you can borrow from the mathematics library for short periods, like a reserved book. (Maybe you can also simply view these files in the library itself using one of the computers there.) The CD has now been updated to include all the lectures before 17/1/2005. On 20/04/2005 I noticed that one picture on the CD from the lecture of 27/10/04 is missing. This picture can now be downloaded from my informal Infi3 website. The files are named in a logical way. The exact key is given in one of the two "readme" files in the root directory of the CD. Please remember that of course there are also quite a number of things which I said in lectures but did not write on the board. Sometimes the things written on the board are not clear without this extra "soundtrack". (and, admittedly, sometimes even with the soundtrack, you may need to invest some considerable effort to understand certain things.) The problems which you meet in tirgulim and homework are also an essential part of the course. Please also bear in mind that I may have occasionally forgotten to photograph the blackboards. THE CD NOW ALSO INCLUDES PICTURES OF THE FIRST VOLUME OF HANDWRITTEN NOTES WHICH I WROTE FOR THE COURSE MATHEMATICA 2H, MANY YEARS AGO. THE APPROACH IN THAT COURSE WAS MUCH MORE INTUITIVE THAN IN INFI 3, AND THERE WAS RARELY ANYTHING IN MORE THAN 3 DIMENSIONS. YOU MAY PERHAPS FIND THE INTUITIVE EXPLANATION ABOUT LAGRANGE MULTIPLIERS ETC. (ON PAGES 55-73 TO BE A HELPFUL ADDITION TO OUR MORE RIGOROUS AND MORE GENERAL TREATMENT OF THIS SAME TOPIC IN INFI 3.
